About Us
Born and raised in New York City, Melanie Arden discovered her passion for floral
design while attending New York University in 1982. Shortly afterwards she
founded MELAROSA, earning both attention and praise for her fine selection
of flowers imported from all around the world. She honed her skill in floral
arrangement through years of study and has a long history of working commercially
in floral trade shows and private events. Working and traveling as a floral
inspector, Melanie garnered a fine reputation among various groups of cooperative
cultivators both domestically and internationally as a master in her craft.
Melanie is highly regarded throughout the floral and related industries.
She has built many strong friendships with associates from farmers to handlers
to designers. Her greatest successes are her many satisfied customers. Melanie
is known for her beautiful flower arrangements and floral designs, which
incorporate influences from many different cultures.
